Tiddly Inks DT Call

After seven months of hard work for getting my BSc in Business and Economics I will have a lot more time for crafting. So now I’m looking for some new challenges.

As you know I’ve been using distress ink reinkers for a while. But sometimes I feel like the distress inks doesn’t give me the right feeling in the picture. So know I’ve bought some copics and I have to start over with the learning process again. But I’ll not stop using my distress inks. 🙂

There is a DT call going on at the Tiddly Inks. Now when I’ll have a lot more time for my crafting I would love to be a part of the design team and to use their lovely stamps on my creations. So with this card, which is my first one colored with copics, I’ll apply to the Tiddly Inks DT call and hope that I have some luck. Please come and join the DT Call together with me and all the other talented people.

DSCF0637The robot is a digi from Tiddly Inks named Roboto and you can find him here. The patterned paper is from Prima Marketing Life time collection.

The copics I’ve used:
“Roboto”: C-7-5-3-1

Background: B0000

New challenge at BGC – Press the button

This time it’s my turn to make a challenge for you at Beyond Grey Challenges. I want you to make a card, layout or project using BUTTONS.

When I started with scrapbooking and card making my mother gave me a box with hundreds of buttons. My mother celebrated her 70th birthday last week and I made this card for her using a few of that buttons.

DSC_0025Those beautiful patterned papers is from the paper pad Blank Canvas from First edition paper. I’ve used a stamp from Magnolia called Tilda with daisy and I’ve colored her with distress ink reinkers.

Skin: Tattered rose and tea dye
Dress, socks and bow: Tattered rose

You can read the whole blog post here and I hope you’ll join us at BGC.

New challenge at BGC – All boy/Masculine

Sorry, this time the blog post is a few days late. I have had the flu but now I’m starting to feel a little bit better.

This time the challenge is to make a masculine card, layout or project at Beyond grey challenges. But hurry, hurry! The challenge has already started.

Here is my card for the challenge. In Sweden at 15 you have the legal right to ride a moped. So I thought that the spanner and the nuts could match that age.

Don’t forget to visit the other girls in our design team. You can find their blogs here on the right.

Just another birthday card

I just wanna show you another card I made. This one was for my partner on his birthday. The patterned papers I’ve used are from the paper pads New leaf and Daydream from First edition paper.

The sentiment says “It’s your day today” in Swedish. The digital stamp is named Toby Tumble Not Too Much Trouble and it’s coming from Cuddy Buddly. I’ve colored it with distress inks reinkers.

Fur: Vintage photo
Ears: Tattered rose
T-shirt: Peeled paint
Trousers: Walnut stain
Doorstep: Pumice stone
Gift: Shabby Shutters and aged mahogany
Grass: Bundled sage

A card for an old man :)

A few weeks ago I told you that I got a question to make another card for my friends. This card would be for a man who would celebrate his 30th birthday. They wanted a humorous card and I was searching for a digital stamp that could match that. Then I found this old man with the balloon and the sentiment at Bugaboo digi stamps. The digi is called Gus Birtday – recount.

As usually I’ve used a patterned paper from First edition paper. This time from the collection Blank Canvas. This paper is one of my favorites from that paper pad because of the fabric texture. The digi is colored with Distress ink reinkers from Ranger.

Party hat: Broken china and faded jeans.
Hair: Pumice stone.
T-shirt: Walnut stain.
Skin: Tattered rose and tea dye.
Trousers: Broken China.
Shoes: Black soot
Balloon: Peacock Feathers.
Shading: Stormy sky.

My friends was pleased with the card and so was the recipient. 🙂

Alice 1 year!

Our friends little daughter Alice has just turned one year old and I made this card for her.

A close up on the tea party. 😉
